I wondered if there were any further ESA images of Maunder crater since this post so I did a search.

I found a perspective view which, of course, would show or not whether this was something coming out of the cliff face. I thought you would all like to look at (what I think might be) the fudge provided to us by ESA of these three water fountains coming out of the side of the cliff. I suspect the area in question is just to the right of the right-pointing 'V' shape, although I could be completely off-track and it could be another area altogether.

If anyone would like to see if they can make a better guess where the 3 water spouts are, then please post it on this thread. There are probably more of these somewhere.

i like that qman, i'll go with liquid.

great find!

i am surrounded on 3 sides by small mountains and on one, there is a big stream that flows when it rains.

i'm trying my best to explain, anyway, it is far away enough that when it does flow, it looks solid.
in real time with my own eyes.

so with a monochrome/flat color pic, people can really miss something like that. unless it has other clues, like shadow, etc, like this find.

Fascinating structures.. maybe some form of irrigation or maybe natural  volcanic flows due to low gravity shapes can be quite fantastic.

I realise that all of these are quite enlarged photgraph, but to me it shows a high pressure stream of water/liquid. Like you get from dams on Earth.

The first one is from the Maunder Crater JPG, the second and subsequent pictures are from the TIF file. There are certainly some rectangular structures, but I am really not sure if this is water/fluid of some kind or maybe exhaust smoke or maybe nothing at all. It appears to be going downwards which makes me think it is water or fluid... Maunder Crater at ESA

Another similar-looking feature

The streams appear to be coming out from underneath the cliff top and not flowing over it or breaking off from it. The red arrow is a similar-looking feature to the ones in the first two pictures.

However, here is more similar features which do NOT look like water/fluid but the arrow points to something which could be attached to the cliff top?

I wonder if the black 'crack' at the top of the cliff is real or not?
