Hello Mark Anthony and welcome to the forum, I have looked at the GASPRA image you posted, and the site you queried does seem to be nothing more than shadows of craters/gully (the quality of the image is not very good), we have to remember that in space shadows can be more pronounced because there is no atmosphere to reflect light.

It is important when studying anomalies (especially in space) to understand the environment surrounding the object(s) and to what purpose the anomaly could be before presenting our evidence.

Regarding the photo below; about 10:30 on the upper left of GASPRA there apears to be an X or t that seems not to be simply shadow.  Perhaps it is an aperture through that portion of it or tampering consistent with blacking out the background of space along with the rest of the intersteller "light".  Just thought that upper left portion stood out as a bit anomalous to me.  Do you know of any better photos of this object?

I am sure there is data of its orbit out there. As I said, what do you think is anomalous about this? If you are going to start threads, you will have to be willing to offer an analysis first rather than just throwing out comments which do not say anything and do not give us an idea where you are coming from.

I'm curiuous as to it's orbital path.  As to it's darkness in the background of space - it would be ideal for someone with better software tools to analyse.  Will be looking into this one a bit closer though and will follow up.  Just thought I'd remind you of some galileophotography.
