Great Post!..Phi / 1.618.The Golden Ratio lends mean to the order of life. Finding a good example may be hard with obscured images. I will give it a try..nautilus-vs-golden-spiral.gif10week21.jpeg

Nature has regular or repeating patterns, but it is generally living things like plants and animals which make those patterns. Where we see patterns, we can appreciate them for their uniqueness and wonder how they were made. Yes, some are made by natural geological processes or wind rain or erosion, but they often do not repeat themselves and are a result of unique environmental circumstances in one area.

On Mars or the Moon, etc, we see these patterns repeated over and over again which is strange for an environment which has no life.

The more I look at images sent back from our spaceships, the more I am convinced that Nature does not create repeated patterns where there is no life, so I have to come to the conclusion that life exists on these other planets.

There are rocks or crystals which have a unique pattern - such as Giants Causeway in Ireland. This is an area which is probably repeated in other areas of the globe and DOES show that this is possible. However, the patterns I am really referring to are the ones on the planets surface - such as straight lines or a regularly-spaced series of structures which is highly unusual in rock formations and geology. These can be small or large, so size is not a determining factor it seems.

I would be really interested if anyone can show me repeated patterns from different areas which consist of regularly spaced structures, straight lines, large round spherical structures in a circle or semi-circle, this kind of thing, which could cause me to re-think my definition of what Nature creates naturally (by geological processes, wind, rain, or erosion effects).

Other than that, I dont know how anyone would determine that there are any 'signs of life' on any other planet. We can analyse the chemicals and environment, but the physial signs of life are perhaps the most intriguing and often the most un-explored by our scientists.
