I agree Qmantoo, they always pick the most outrageous photos to cover in the news.

It makes fun of what we do and discredits the entire study.  They hardly ever want to

cover the rock solid anomalies like this one.>

 light bulb.gif

I did go over the entire 509 sol photos and posted a few of them in other threads.

There is crap strewn all over the place.  You know when I started this

thread it was Christmas eve and was trying to be funny, but here I am

again posting something that I think looks like a rodent.  Is it a rock?

I'm sure it is, but we have to have fun with  this too, and they'll always be able

to poke fun of us on that front.

I think often these kind of things are a diversion to draw our eyes away from other 'things' in the image. Yes ok may look like a mouse to the general population, but there are other more obviously anomalous pipes and blurred-out areas in this linked image. So, although it does look like a mouse for the readers of the Daily Express or Daily Mail or whatever paper posted it originally, it is, I feel, just a diversion to get their readership up and pull the plonkers of their tabloid readers. Have a closer look at the linked image from mars.nasa.gov to see what I mean and look at nearer areas to the camera.

I couldn't help it, I had to have this guy here.  I didn't find him.

ArtAlienTV was the first I saw mention it, but I'm not sure if he was the first to find this or not.

I know that matters to some people.  He is the link to his movie>>>
