Of course the articles/reports are from 2014 (and earlier). Report 239 of October 26, 2014, is the last report Skipper ever wrote.

Can anyone of you in the USA ask the town hall of Live Oak, Florida, if Joseph Skipper has maybe passed away in 2014?

As of today 12 June 2017 the MAR site is still there however the articles/reports are from 2014. The article I read seemed the same as before in style and content and I did not instantly disappear in a puff of smoke (you'll be glad to hear).

It looks like someone has taken over the site, all of links to Skipper on the site have been taken down (although an active link to our forum is up), it will be interesting to watch how MAR site evolves, however for the time being I suggest caution when opening links on the site.

Thank you masjosh for letting us know the site was up again

Somebody must know for certain what happened to Skipper, George Noory perhaps (Coast to Coast a.m.) .. I find it highly strange and suspicious that there is NOTHING on any Internet search. I.e. Google, duckduckgo, etc

One of our members (Reggy) posted this link earlier in this thread, it is a little dated and some of the links are down, but is a useful reference for Skipper's work.

Dear Xenon, thanks for your reply. Attached is a photo of the 4 files in which I keep all reports of Skipper, starting with his report of water on Mars, dated December 28, 2000. I will keep Skipper's flame alive.

I can find no news of skipper anywhere, and now his site has gone along with all of his showcase research (except for whats on the archived link and his old Facebook page (not used since late November 2014), the most heartbreaking thing is that other than his book, all of his original research and notes may now be lost, he always claimed he had warfare evidence but sadly never gotten around to publishing it.

From personal experience I know how easy it is for evidence to be destroyed, and now that Skipper has gone and his site is down we can see just how easy a whole website of commentary and analysis can disappear, we owe it to Skipper, our viewers, and other researcher's to protect as much evidence we have collected over the years.

Warthog welcome to the forum, I am heartend to hear you had the foresight to print out and save so many of skipper's reports, you hold a valuable archive of skipper's work and I hope you keep it safe (maybe laminating each page would help prevent damage).

For ten years I followed Joseph Skipper and his website. I had frequently contact with him when I discovered anomalies myself. He sent me his book and signed it. I am very sorry to hear he (probably) passed away. Now that his website is offline I praise myself for having printed all his reports since 2000. We as independent minds and fans of Skipper and his work will continue his legacy and counter the lies of NASA, JPL, Malin Space Systems and the military-industrial complex. I also discovered anomalies between the mountains on Pluto, white forms with round openings can be seen at the bottom of the picture and more white anomalies above it.

Xenon and Gman thanks for responding, the not knowing is the worst.  I would be willing to help out with anything on my end.

Just let me know what I can do, I would be willing to pay to keep his sight up and commit some time as well.  Xenon you couldn't have said it better>>>

Thinking about paying for someone elses website - I wonder if it would become complicated for the hosting company? It would become easy for someone to hijack a website by offering such a payment. Once someone pays for a website, they pretty much have control over it and if the hosting company has not heard from the 'owner' then what do they do but go with the one who pays the bill. "Possession is 9/10ths of the law" as they say.

Yes, it is sad that the website is down, however, we all have to make the most of the time our friends and loved ones are with us. We never know when life will shift the ground under our feet and bring change into our lives. I have often wondered what I will do to let my friends know I have died, but maybe it is not that important when you consider the Grand Scheme of things. New websites spring up and old websites die but it is the data which lives on. The best we can do is look at the internet archive site now I guess.

Currently, there is no easy way to archive a website and save it somewhere where others can get at it and even if that happened, you have to find someone who is willing and able to ressurrect it. That often costs money, not only in hosting fees and may be a burden that someone else does not want.

Skippers site is large and would span many gigabytes of information I suspect and that amount of information is not particularly easy to get from one place to another. For example, I have about 8 DVDs worth of Fukushima information, images, PDFs etc but who wants it and how do I get it to them. The only option is by snail mail (post).

I suspect this forum and its posts & images are about the same size if not more and it all takes a lot of time to download and store somewhere. Who wants to look after it and what happens when they want to give up their interest in this website? Who do they pass it onto? The perennial problem is that everyone wants someone else to do it and what one person finds interesting another may not.

I would offer to archive this forum but some of the images are not available to me here in China due to government restrictions. I can write or find a program to do the archiving, but then I have to instruct someone else how to run it if they dont know how to do it. They have to make sure they have enough space available and plans in place what to do with the data if something was to happen to them. So, these things are not really as easy as just copying the data off and storing it somewhere, but - if there is a will to do it for this forum, then I will help find a way.

I have tried to contact Skipper all year but had no replies, in my last contact with him he said he was having knock on health problems due to his fall.

Just to clear up any misunderstanding Alien Anomalies is not and never has been a fan club for Skipper, his guestbook was plagued by trolls flaming readers who posted and after I consulted with him the forum was reopened so that scholar's and writer's at his guest book could post and discuss ideas and evidence in a safe environment without fear of ridicule or prejudice.

Myself and other members of AA the decided to set up a group of the planetary truth project (PTP) with the aim to promote skipper's and other researcher's evidence, plus to encourage others to set up they're own groups too.

I really wish I had some news about Patrick, his emaiI accounts are down also, I do know he paid a subscription for his guest book to remain active and although it is now closed his main MAR site is still up and running (albeit no new posts).

As for "the watcher (tw)", he did retract his statement about skipper's death, but as Patrick has not been heard of since the end of last year I do have major concern's for skipper's wellbeing.

Skipper was an inspiration and laid the foundations for us all to become anomaly hunters, and for that alone he gained my highest respect and he is greatly missed by us all.

So, has anyone heard from Skipper this time?  He hasn't posted in over a year, both on the Marsanomalyresearch site and on his facebook site.

I'm hoping he hasn't passed, but I'm starting to think he has.

Hi all. So pleased to see the site is back up, and worried for the Skipper that he was "held" incommunicado. Maybe we should look at clubbing together to get him a smartphone(if he does not have one already, or if he will have one), so he has immediate access to the net if he needs it. Just a thought.

Welcome back Joseph. Happy to hear of the mending, and of the walking.

Two signed copies are now headed north to BC. Where no internet, nor cell service are seen! Hundreds of kilometers from civilization,  in the middle of nowhere(Sasquatch country)..........yadda, yadda, yadda....

I can't wait to pull out a solid, real book with facts and pics that I am sure will stun and awe some of the most closed minded individuals!lol Just kidding,  but it's goin' to be a blast to have a bit backup durin' the heated debates that brew around the campfires,  in the highlands of the North.biggrin

Keep up the great work peoples.

Peace Phil,

Hi reggy, welcome to the forum, Thank you so much for the link, I had no idea this archive existed, the good thing is that most of the links to his reports work and members can now begin archiving Mr Skippers work, I am just wondering if this archive could be used to back up Mr Skippers site if he is unable to when he returns home (I do not think his site is lost forever).

Again thank you for sharing this with us and I hope you will stay with us

Best wishes to you

Xenon

Wonderful news, thank you for updating us Xenon. All attempts to assist Skipper with his site were refused by the Host Service even after I had clearly explained the fact that he was incapacitated and all we wanted to do was insure it remained visible but not in any way access it.

This has highlighted two very important issues.

1. We need a 'telephone tree' or contact options for owners of the sites so we can make sure they don't dissapear

2. We need an emergency plan where the sites are backed up somehow ?

Hard to do without exposing people to risk, but we cannot afford to lose the info we have all worked so hard to collect.

Any suggestions on how we safeguard our sites in these cases ?

The first thing we need to do is to make hard copies of our evidence (Burnt onto disc and or external storage devices), unfortunately I can only copy this forum layout but not the threads or posts, and as our host is in Canada it makes it a little more secure than most other countries.

The upcoming war(s) that may be about to take place will allow governments the power to control, censure, edit, and delete sites that do not conform to measures in place at the time, so having an external contact tree is a good option to not only to keep in contact, but also to keep the evidence flowing freely, I have no problem being part of the tree, but we do need a secret keeper of contacts personal information should the tree be broken.

Yes, it is good to find out he is on the mend.  Interesting that he does not know why his website was taken offline, but I am sure there will be more info in the coming weeks.

Thanks for posting and keeping us updated.

I have received another email regarding Mr Skipper that I have been asked to forward on to you all....

"Jeffrey,

On Christmas morning as I was visiting what of my family is now in the graveyard and about to start the day, I fell and broke my right hip.  Yes Christmas morning.  Merry Christmas Mr. Skipper!

On Medicare there followed weeks including surgery, pain, drugs, complications, and then the last several months of rehab during which I was essentially held incommunicado against my will and have had to learn to walk all over again.   Today is my first day out of this prison on a day pass and so I'm home for just a few hours now and sending this brief email to let you know what happened to ne as we've already done via telephone and that I am still alive and functioning.

It took nearly an act of Congress to even begin getting these day passes started if one wants Medicare to foot the majority of the medical bills.

I was so out of it that I learned two months after the fact that my website had apparently been removed from the Internet for two months so completely indicating that my adversaries have apparently taken full advantage of my situation.  That of course meant that my book sales and the truths contained therein also fell off to nothing.

However, I am recovering and they haven't gotten rid of me yet nor have they shut me up.  Soon I will be back online and we'll do this dance some more.  Jeffrey, I've got to cut this off and return to the rehab facility now until the next day pass.  During the meantime feel free to share this email with others where ever you think it will do some good.

J. P. Sklpper"

I have managed to contact a close friend of Mr Skipper who was able to update me, I have asked him to pass on all our best wishes to Mr Skipper.

Hello Chris:

I spoke to Patrick yesterday, he is still recovering from a hip replacement surgery and is wheel chair bound, he has not been home since last year when he had a fall breaking his hip. His website is down under mysterious circumstances. I had a friend track him down and found him in a rehabilitation centre in Florida. I am keeping in contact with him in the event he need any kind of help. He is recovering well but may not be able to get on-line for a few weeks yet.

Hi

Godaddy is the registrar and Skippers domain name registration expires on 18 Sep 2014 so no point in contacting them.

However you can try to contact ServInt  his web host although I doubt they'll divulge any info to you guys.

Dedicated hosting is expensive, hope he doesn't struggle paying off his subs

I'm sure Joseph felt the need to protect his family after losing his mother and his wife, Sandi. I too would like to make a contribution (a koha as we call it here in Aotearoa/New Zealand) to helping getting the site back on it's feet, as modest as my help will have to be, but this all is really up to Joseph and where he is at. First and foremost I really wish to respect his privacy and leave him to healing if he so wishes, tho personally (and selfishly) I hope that the site is up and running as soon as possible, but only as and when Joseph sees fit.

I agree TW, we know he has had a fall and broken his hip as his daughter posted so on his guest book, as far as I know Mr Skipper was living at home alone before his accident, so there would be no one to maintain his site (or pay his hosting dues), plus it could take some time until he is fit enough to continue his site (if at all).

As I have said "I have already emailed Mr Skipper" and as soon as I get a reply I will post an update, remember jumping to conclusions without any facts is always a foolish venture.

No need to feed the conspiracy crave. The domain is safe. Most probably hasnt paid his hosting provider.   Happens to everyone at some point hosting a site.
