I found this poem whilst searching for "mars snowfall"

I'm Dreaming of a Mars Snowfall

I'm dreaming of a Mars snowfall
It's never been observed before
Where the craters get scarred
And Phoenix tries hard
To see snowflakes on the ground

I'm dreaming of a Mars snowfall
With every photo sent along
As long as NASA says go
And may all your regolith be white

Thank you  Humanoid for sharing the poem with us, somehow Bing Crosby's White Christmas will never seem the same stereo.gif

I have to agree with Papa on this one, it is an unusual out crop, and I too think it is just a trick of the eye.

One thing I have noticed in many of the images you have been posting.....there does seem to be a lot of "SNOW", we all know Mars is quite frosty, but dry snow drifts seem a common feature on Mars.
