Hi ARP2, the number you have provided is some sort of Photoshop assigned document number. What we are looking for is the official rover image identifier, which should look something like this: 2P(for pancam) or 2N(for navcam) then the time stamp, frame type, left/right camera etc. If you go to xiriux's thread Evidences found in Spirit Image Gallery, just below each of his 3 images there's a number which is the image identifier. Every timeyou download an image from the rovers gallery, the default file name saved onyour PC (ifyou don't change it yourself) represents the image id number. Anyways I wish you kept that number so that I might have been able tosearch for you image at PDS, as all rover imagery is also available there for scientific research in .imgfile format.
Okay.. I found thru my Adobe Photoshop a "document number" in the advanced area... I don't know if this is the number that is needed as I am NOT good with numbers at all!!!
it is: uuid: 3877575BCD74DE11AA05F7EE815D4448
(now that I'm totally confused...)
Geesh I wonder why they got rid of the image from the Rover site???
intresting find ARP. i think it could be an anomaly. i must say that isn't the first time i see lights like that in the images of mars and moon, and personally i think these object can be metallic relics or "columns" refelecting the sun light or spreading lighjt by themselves. i will try to see if i can find some of them again to post em here
unluckly, usually these are objects very little and not easy to focus on, that's why rarely u can see em on the web.
I found this light, looks like it's coming up from ground? Don't know... GRRR! I'm very upset because I tried to find the link... I think they took it off their site as it's no longer there!!! I'd like to find someone who may have saved this same image and has the link too?
Here is the image anyway...
