it is interesting to see a grid application/vinette on these images . Excellent work goggog. It really helps.. I wonder if it is possible to copy the grid/checker/patterns from the white sky areas / reverse and then apply to certain areas....as a reverse layer...it really is a clever because it motion blurs in each section in reverse directions..smart stuff...more time and pixels than I have..
Here is a sectional crop of a MastCam image. I have enhanced the view to 'bring out' the detail that cannot normally be seen in the JPL original.
There are literally hundreds of anomalies to view and after examining the image further it would appear that nearly everything on the surface is artificial.
Many facial representations are showing and I suspect that some of them may be miniature statues.
I previously estimated the height of the beings to be 1.6 to 1.8mm and the majority of their structures varies between 3mm and 10mm with some being larger.
There is a fairly large dark anomalous structure showing to the lower right of the view.
The finer detail showing in the image is not compression artifacts.
Has Curiosity landed on a vast city of a tiny-sized beings just like the Phoenix did?
You are welcome to download the image to make any adjustments to improve the quality.
Have a look and see what you think.

This is a close-up view of a zone where the soil at Curiosity's landing site was blown away by the thrusters on the rover's descent stage. The excavation of the soil reveals probable bedrock outcrop. This is important because it shows the shallow depth of the soil in this area. The area surrounding the zones of excavation shows abundant small rocks that may form a pavement-like layer above harder bedrock.
This full-resolution image was taken by the rover's Navigation camera.
Macten, You are welcome to post here and thanks for posting the images.
There are literally thousands of anomalies on the martian surface just waiting to be discovered. Some are very prominent while others are obscure and a little wark has to be implemented to 'bring out' the detail. Let's hope the imaging from the cams on Curiosity wil be an improvement on what we have had to deal with from the MER's.

Sorry to have hijacked your thread but I got pumped! There seems to be a pyrimidal stepped building and a carving that I can see in your pic. Maybe another temple of some type.
Notice the carved top and the entrance door on the bottom. The door has an odd carving or something over it. Allmost like the grinning face on the coin or the carving at the temple of the skull.
First pic is original, second is clipped, third is enhanced to see beyond JPL masking.I didn't really believe it at first but I am seeing more and more of it as I go thru the Sol's. This is just a small example.
