Thanks for the pointers about Google rdunk. Just like anything it takes a bit of practice. What I lack it computer skills, I more than make up for in enthusiasm about the topics that everyone here present so beautifully. Gives me some great ammo for the crazy conversations that I have had, and will have, with those whom will never get the chance to see for themselves, the amount of work/effort that has been given here to keep us informed. From the Highlands to the Highseas, great stories with a bit of color are always in demand. Sometimes the truthes are stranger then fiction and always keep them coming back for more.......

Hey Phil, thanks for posting. That feature does have an interesting look. I haven't found the actual photo on that yet, but we can keep looking.
One thing for sure, we all were "Newbies at one time. I too started out using Google Mars, as that is all I knew to use, and I was finding stuff. Something we all learn, is that what ends up being the Google Earth presentation of Mars is quite different from the actual NASA pics. Of course, you may know this already, but, Google Mars can still be a good search tool because..........it also has links to the actual Mars photos. These links are found in the tool bar on the left of the Google Mars screen, down near the bottom, under the heading of "Spacecraft Imagery". There one finds the list of the Mars Orbiter cameras that take the photos. If you check/select these boxes, then photo outlines will also be depicted in the Google Mars screen image, as you search.
If you see something interesting using Google Mars, then you can go to the actual Mars Orbiter photos, and see what the photos show as really being there. As I said, Google Mars often just doesn't depict the true NASA image of the surface. Not say'in NASA's image is "true" either, for other reasons, but they are presentwd as the actual photos.
Keep looking, as there is a lot of anomalies to be fond on Mars.

Hello and welcome. Could you please post a link to this very interesting image? It does look like a light source within a structure. Maybe co-ordinates are in order so we can go to the site and see this firsthand.
Not that I dont trust just you, I dont trust anyone. LOL! Its just standard procedure here to link the photos presented.
I'm not one for pealing off the layers of image distortion/mis-direction myself. I don't have the time nor software to do so, but I very much love cruisin' the Mars surface on google. I come across "interesting to me" images and would like to share one. I have not see this particular image being discussed anywhere, so if it has please let me know.
Now........to me, I see some sort of light source comming out of a 3d object/building of a sort. I may be waaaaay off, but hey looks cool to me. Anyone?
