And these below are same day (Sol) with one of those pointy rock creepy things. (It reminds me of the eggs on the Alien movies )

Looks like this rock is sticking its tongue out at the rover.

Notice what appears to also be another circle carving/marking to boot. Could be nothing, but worth mentioning as we have seen these plenty.

Masjosh, This is an exceptional find. Well done. 

The tall object looks like a head statue although I could be wrong, but to me that is what it appears to be.

I have produced a colour-difference version of this image and the tall object is definitely a different colour than the colour of the large rock it sits on.

There are also many other objects worthy of note in the view.

I don't think there is anything creeping out.

The holes would appear to be where the terrain was blasted by the laser onboard Curiosity.

Any life-forms in the vicinity would have been evaporated.

Here is another view after the laser was fired.

In the  view shown below, I have increased the contrast and shadow enhanced the image to 'bring out' some of the surface detail.

Zoom in a little and you may spot some very interesting objects that can only be there due to a tiny-sized active life existence.

The content seen in this image is not a hoax.

Here is a very close view of the 'pits' made by the laser but I would ask you to look carefully at the host of other features showing in the image.

You may be very surprised at the detail what can be seen.

It is not often I find unusual activity in the curiosity ChemCam: Remote Micro-Images, but sol 642 set of four images holes appear that are not present in the first slide (far right), I do not think they are caused by the rovers laser and look more like they have been burrowed, I can't make out if there is anything else around the holes as I am using a mobile device to post this find, but I am sure members can dissect the image........ http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/msl/multimedia/raw/?s=642&camera=CHEMCAM_

Something is creeping or blasting out of this crater wall at 7 o'clock.  And how about those rimless black pits?
