That Ken A is one hell of a list of details. When I read it my head near blew off the top of my shoulders. Now you really got me intrigued .. you know why? Mostly because I have absolutely no reason in the world at present to doubt, or disbelieve you. I have myself posted quite a number of pics, as most I guess, which were not percieved at all, and that's fine by me, because in most cases I still consider them ( anomalies ) valid .. and still there. I believe you may very well have an extraordinary grasp of details that eludes even such as myself and rdunk, and this talent be ashured I am going to be watching very closely now. Will be pleased, really, to have you run through some of these, at least more prominent or visible anomaly features, as you go through your future posts. Thanks Ken A for a positive and enjoyable reply .. a most remarkable post indeed. / -morbius

One thing more, an aside if you will. There is a program you might consider downloading for your personal use, it is called SnagIt .. an image capture program that has a built-in editor too .. with features like arrows, captions, etc. I've had an old 8.2 for about ten years now that works just fine and produces some really neat work. Just looked it up .. and is available for a 30-day trial run .. so nothing to lose anyway. Give it a try and let me know in your posts how it works and how you can work with its features .. really looking forward to your future posts and findings Ken A .. good hunting !

Thank you Morbius, as I said in the Martian Family post, I took a little break away from this anomaly business and got busy with outside house chores with the arrival of good weather.
I do not know if I have the knack to find this stuff on these pictures provided by NASA or not, but I been analyzing photographs (earth bound ones) for a very long time now as hobby adjunct to 40 plus years with analog photography being a major hobby of mine.
My problem is with these NASA controlled pictures is that I do not know what to believe with their level of obfuscation.
What is real?
What is covered up?
What is placed in the photos to throw you off?
Since all we have to work with are these photos on the internet provided by the guardian of the secrets themselves then it is an iffy business or pastime to begin with.

Hello Ken A . Have adjusted some of the parameters/Attached . Would you consider this a more natural/ or correct view ? Can we proceed with this as a tenative-standard or is another, or the ' original ' preferred to work with ? / -M
Well the "machinery" is better defined in your view, it is actually more intricate than I ever imagined.
The "welder" is a much better defined also, so well defined that I can see he is wearing a face mask.
The man on the opposite side has lost definition in your view, he was kind of faint in appearance in my view to begin with.
He had a large head and his profile was on view and he wore glasses. He was of fair caucasian Northern European in appearance as best that I could make of his image from my view and I surmised that he has inclined or in a pit and another person was just behind him.
There is what looks like a rifle stock under the "machinery" near the front closer to the welder and a long bar with a loop handle (like a pry bar) laying on the ground near the other man.
Some of the stones in front of this "machinery" have inscription on them, something I could only see faintly on one stone in my view.
All in all I say very good work Morbius !
This indeed is an anomaly filled scene in my book.

Hello Ken A . You have presented two posts here that look very interesting and that I have been meaning to examine for some time now. Would you mind posting an arrowed Thumbnail or such of these 2 locations ? / -Morbius
Here is a whole screen shot with the subjects pointed out. It should be easy to locate this scene on your own from http://photojournal.jpl.nasa.gov/jpeg/PIA16700.jpg panorama as the vertical and horizontal positioners are shown in my whole screen shot.
I will do the same on my "Martian Family on Mars" post from the same panorama.

Right side of pic under white arrow, this is from PIA 16700 panorama.
This contraption under the rock reminds me of a condenser or evaporator.
Maybe a pressure valve is letting off some steam on the right side at the end of the U shaped device.
Could it be a Martian still of some sort?
OR.. it is one of those single tank track vehicles that they use on Mars and this one needs repair so the mechanic in the brown shirt has the acetylene torch out, he is visible just to the left of the white arrow, while his two buddies on the opposite side try to help out.
